The Omicron Alpha Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to invite you to take part in the chapter’s Scholarship Competition.

Annually, the Omicron Alpha Alpha Foundation gives scholarships to graduating, college bound seniors. The selection of students is based primarily on academic achievement, social action/community involvement, and extra-curricular activities. The recipients and amounts of the scholarships are determined by the Scholarship committee, appointed by the Foundation President, and comprised of Foundation board members.

Providing scholarships and awards furthers the Omicron Alpha Alpha Foundation’s goal to promote academic excellence. We proudly award high school students who show academic commitment and outstanding character.
Since 1980, our chapter has generously donated numerous academic scholarships and awards to deserving high school students.

Objectives of Scholarships and Awards:

• • • Motivate our deserving students to reach their full potential

    • Reward hard work and character

    • Recognize and encourage excellence

    • Support the studies of those who are in financial need

Requirements for consideration are as follows:

• • • Graduate from an Pontiac High School

    • Senior planning to attend college in the Fall of 2026

    • Grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale

    • 2 Letters of recommendation (one teacher/ non-family member)

    • Essay: Minimum 750 words
